Ryan Higa, also known as Nigahiga for his YouTube channel of the same name is an American, YouTube personality of Japanese origin.
He made his first YouTube video while attending Waiakea High School where he competed in judo wrestling. The channel was launched in 2006 and, was created by Higa and his friends Sean Fujiyoshi, Tim Enos, and Tarynn Nago. They started by posting videos of themselves lip-syncing to songs of famous singers. They soon shifted to comic videos and the series of ‘How to be’ videos on ‘tips’ to become a Ninja, gangster.

Ryan has gained over 2.9 billion views on his channel with ‘Nice Guys’ being the most-watched video.
Richard Van leet produced and directed his first film titled Ryan and Sean’s Not So Excellent Adventure in 2008. Later he starred in the short movie ‘Ninja Melk along with Tim Enos and Tarynn Nago. Among his film, Higa is most fond of the 35 minutes short called ‘Agents of secret stuff’ which features many other YouTubers and actors.
